The Mathematical Model of Manifestation
A differential equation that turns the abstract idea of 'manifesting' into a quantifiable, predictable process.
What it is
A formal mathematical framework that describes the manifestation process from the imaginal act (the moment a desire is impressed) to its realisation in physical reality. The model treats consciousness, imagination, and the "orchestrator" (the quantum field) as quantifiable variables whose interaction can be expressed in a differential equation, solved, and used to predict outcomes.
This is the source equation behind the Alai Score. When Imaginum rates a Vision Board image 0–100, it is measuring how closely that image satisfies the weighted variables defined here.
The core equation, simplified
The full differential expresses the rate of change of the manifestation outcome over time as a function of four primary variables and a friction term:
- A — Accuracy of Imaginal RepresentationHow closely the inner image matches the fulfilled outcome (not the pursuit of it).
- S — Sensory DetailThe richness and specificity of the imaginal experience — what is seen, heard, felt, smelled, tasted.
- O — Observer InfluenceFirst-person presence inside the scene, anchoring the user to the imagined state rather than observing it from outside.
- T — Time + λ (friction)The accumulated effect of contradictory states (doubt, denial, opposing imagery). The exponential decay term penalises pursuit-state imagery the longer it persists.
Why it matters
For decades, manifestation was taught with no measurable variables — just “feel it,” “believe it,” “act as if.” Useful folk wisdom, but it gave the practitioner no way to know whether they were doing it well. The model fixes that. A specific image showing the desire already fulfilled is high in A, S, and O. A vague inspirational photo of a sunset is low in all three. The same person, doing the same practice, can now compare outputs and improve.
How Imaginum applies it
Every Vision Board image is scored against this equation by GPT-4o-mini vision. The five on-screen dimensions you see in the Alai Score breakdown — Fulfilment accuracy, Sensory specificity, Personal presence, Emotional resonance, Physical believability — are the practical mapping of A, S, O, and the T-friction variable into something the user can act on. Score climbs as the image gets closer to the model's ideal.
