The Body Knows How to Rest

Audio not yet rendered for this scene.
I know that while I sleep, my body is doing the work it was designed to do. I feel the cells of my body settling into the rhythm of repair tissue renewing, memory consolidating, the nervous system finding its baseline. I am not required to manage this. The intelligence in my body handles it without my direction. I surrender to this gratefully. I know that when I open my eyes in the morning I will feel the difference: clear, rested, ready. The sheets are cool against my skin. The room is quiet. Everything is fine. I close my eyes now and let the restoration begin.
