I feel no urgency, no background hum of worry — only the ease of someone whose numbers are correct. I think back on the moment the last debt was cleared and the feeling of that — the lightness — is still fresh in my memory. Now I live in a space that is mine fully. I make choices based on what I want, not what I can afford. I give generously because generosity comes naturally to someone who has enough. I am financially free, and I carry that freedom quietly, the way someone carries a thing they no longer need to prove.
